Amanda Anderton Photography

Looking back a year later I am incredibly grateful for our family’s experience having Amanda shoot our “day in the life” photographs.  We absolutely treasure the photos we received especially since we have moved away from the home they were taken in.  What a wonderful way to capture that moment in time and also our beloved home.  Having four young children the idea of photo shoots can give me sweaty palms as it is very challenging to get them all looking at the camera and in a happy mood.  The “day in the life” shoot was completely different.  We were able to be our best selves:  playing, laughing, snuggling, being goofy and Amanda was able to capture those beautiful moments without any need to pose or force smiles. We choose to do a couple activities that we enjoy as a family, a walk in the forest, lego building and having lunch together.  Amanda made us feel so comfortable that we were able to just have a great time as a family and allow her to capture the moments. 

 I think we all long to find a way to hold those simple everyday moments in our hearts forever.  It is so wonderful to have photos that show the real tenderness, love and fun our family shares.

I wanted to capture the day to day life of having newborn twins. Amanda provided us with a beautiful depiction of exactly that - and I couldn't be more in love with the photographs that she provided us. During the session Amanda was very kind, gave some direction but most importantly helped us relax. The images she captured are in an album that is proudly displayed in our home. I will forever cherish those early days of our family together and now I have my own "brag book." 

It's a story, a day in the life of our crazy busy family filled with love, laughs and new experiences.

There are individual photographs that I am planning to have framed on our wall but the collection as a whole is really what I love most about our experience. Even though the session was only a couple months ago so much has changed and our twin girls have grown so much. I have a beautiful family treasure immortalized and I am so grateful that Amanda provided this to our family. I would highly recommend Amanda Anderton Photography.
