Amanda Anderton Photography

Documentary photography is designed to capture the beauty of your every day.

These sessions include 1.5 -6 hours of continuous coverage of your family doing what they do best - being themselves!

What's your family's thing?

Do you rough it outback in a tent every year? Do you get ultra competitive playing Mario Kart? Are family dinners a full contact sport in your household?

Maybe you really cherish your early morning or bedtime routines together.

Perhaps you having family coming into town that you don't see every day.

Maybe you have a favourite spot that you just love to chill out and soak it all in.

Whatever it is, imaging spending your yearly photo session doing EXACTLY what you love to do!

How awesome is that?

Documentary photography is story telling at its finest. No props, posing or bribery required. It's a representation of who your family is in this moment of time, the relationships you have forged and the love that you share.

To prepare for your session, I'll chat with you about what activities are most meaningful for you to capture. We'll create a plan for the day that involves your favourite activities and events that get your family interacting and feeling the joy.

I will come to your home or meet you in a location with extra meaning to you. We will share meals, laughs, quiet tender moments and revel in the beautiful CHAOS that is the parenting journey.

By inviting me into your home for a session you will collect memories not only for yourself, but for your children, your grandchildren and generations to follow.
